Privacy and your history

What Quidbo keeps to suggest listings

The words you search for and the listings you open. Each is kept with the day it happened, for up to 90 days, and at most the latest 200 are kept. We use them for one thing: the “Picked for you” and “Recently viewed” rows on the home page. They are never shown to other members, sold or shared.

Who is remembered

If you are signed in, suggestions are on until you turn them off. If you are not signed in, nothing is kept unless you press “Remember my searches”, which sets one cookie on this device. It holds a random code, nothing about you, and we store only a scrambled copy of it with the history.

Your controls

Clearing deletes the history now. Turning suggestions off deletes it and stops anything new being kept.
